Wolfsschanze

“Wolfsschanze” by Stanislav Klabík
Fallen tree in the left corner is made using paint deformation for modelling bark and then mapped using unwrap and textured.

LIGHTNING AND RENDERING
I spent about three days with setting light, because I needed specific light, I want morning light casting shadows from trees on the main building, but only on bottom and middle part of building and I needed small islands of sunlight on the stone a bottom part of the image. I placed big tree behind camera for shadows and placed several boxes around scene for more darker light atmosphere of forest and then played with longitude and latitude and with time. I used longitude and latitude which I found in atlas, which represented position of Wolfsschanze in Poland and used morning time. I used plane with bend modifier and texture of sky for background instead of sky from Maxwell.
