Go ahead and delete those two joint chains we just made.

Rather than have to make this again I’m going to group it. Since the group makes it’s self on the origin, I can just duplicate the group with a negative scale in X to get the second one in the right place.
After you make the second control unparrent both controls from their groups, freeze transformations on the control and delete the groups. Name the controls lf_kneeCTRL and rt_kneeCTRL respectively.

Since we’re working on the left side for now, we’re just going to hook up the one control for now. You can hook up the other when you do the other side. Select the knee control, then select the ankle IK handle. From the constraint menu select Pole Vector. If everything worked right you shouldn’t see the leg move at all.


Test out your new knee control and make sure it works.
