A friend asked me to draw a little golden dragon. The dragon is named “Drake” (that’s how my friend’s son is named in real life actually 🙂 ).
I tried to make the picture look like an illustration for a children book. I experimented a lot with colors, structures and lights, so I hope you like it! Maybe this will turn into some kind of series 🙂
Drawing was done in Photoshop CS4 and using Hanvon Graphics tablet “Artmaster”. It took me about 13 hours. So here we go with our step-by-step image tutorial:
