Here’s my piece of the Drow vs Mindflayer from one challenge which I did in 2009. I think it turned out pretty well. It came together pretty smoothly, which was nice. I’ve also included my (slightly refined from the original) sketch, since I think that sort of thing is interesting. Below the sketch is final result as well. As a face reference of Drow, a photo from www.photo-reference-for-comic-artists.com site has been used.
